Invented by Lee Wulff in the 1930’s.

Hook: Dry fly Size 10 -16
Thread: Black
Tail: Natural deer hair or brown calf tail.
Wing: Natural deer hair or brown calf tail
Body: Yellow (the original called for floss but I have used yellow yarn in this version).
Hackle: Brown and grizzly dry fly hackle mixed.
