Tube: 1 1/2 inch copper tube:
Hook: Daiichi 2050
Body: Black SLF
Rib: Silver Wire
Hackle: Black Shlappen
Wing: Black Rabbit Strip
Thread: Uni 6/0 Wine

This fly I had tied in December after exams and went down to the big trib and hooked two fish on it. After the way the catt stayed high a dirty I wanted something that gave a big profile in stained water and this did the trick. Fished slow and deep on the swing. I felt that fishing a very large dark fly was the way to entice a steelhead in high dirty water to get it's attention.
