wsaj614...what kind of action does that head give it? Do you ever strip it in to create a lot of activity?

Just tied it up today. It doesnt actually move the fly, it creates turbulance over the fibers. It should move nice though. Here's another one...

I figured it might make a lot of turbo but I'm also wondering, if it's a little bit off-center or unbalanced, if it would create a darting action...kind of like "walking the dog." I think the turbulence, in itself, would create enough bubbles & commotion to attract aggressive fish or cause a reaction strike. No matter the reason, it's a real, real interesting fly. It doesn't look like your average drifting or swinging type of fly. It reminds me of some salt water flies that have a clear plastic cone "in reverse" to make a lot of activity & make them more visible...thanks for the great tie..jj

Thanks Suthrn! Haha! I don't know Adam. At least someone caught it though. I was thinking about Perfect Strangers that day, and that fly just happened to be really weird, so the name fit it well. I think my next line may be inspired by Gordon Shumway,
