yes T&T are totally domestic. the downside is they do not make anything even mid level. Scott has still managed to make mid level rods here and that is nothing but a good thing. hopefully they can keep it up.

i'm not a rich man by any standards but i own several and i do feel they are worth the dough. it's personal preference on a lot of this stuff but i do really like them.
if you ever want to borrow one and take it for a test drive just ask. i think if more people actually tried them they would be even more popular.

Thanks for the offer, Nick. I've actually cast a friends 12' #8 and it was really nice! Light in hand and nice action. The problem I see with them is that the blanks are $500. I'd love to build one but that's a lot of dough! I would imagine the 11'6" #7 would be perfect for me, though.

Nick, is it worth the extra cash to get a T and T? Brent There must be something there as the top custom bamboo/glass rod builders (rod builders meaning including the blank) seem to all have high regards for Thomas and Thomas................. and few if any others.
