Well, I have the new travel rod, a new flyline and here is the fly box. There's still some room for a few more, perhaps a I'll tie a few more Merkins (thanks for the yarn Nick). I need to pick up some 2X tippet as well. Then off to the Yucatan, BONES BEWARE!!!

Perfect layout! I don't know much about salt, But next summer you can take that same box down to the river for golden bones and bass.

Awesome collection of flies...I really need to start tying for the Salt. Less then 4 weeks until Cayo Largo Cuba.
Let's see if I tie 20 flies a week my fly box should look as full as yours, Nicely done. I need less typing more tying. lol

Probably not this year, but maybe next spring (doing the keys again this year).

nice flies! Make sure to tie some with rabbit or artic fox, as it is more lifelike in the water and has been the difference on more than once occasion.

Well done Crane. Looks like you'll have enough. Just a thought, not sure how Cuba will fair different that Mexico, but a medium brown Crazy Charlie with bead chain eyes and red squirrel tail as the wing, with some copper crystal flash on top worked great for me. The few places I fished had brown/green turtle grass growning on the bottom.
