thanks to Rick Kustich for hosting the event again this year. Tough conditions with the dark overcast skies, but it seemed like everyone had a great time. A few carp were even caught. as well as roaches and bass.
Thanks to GI Steve for the great Salad, as well as Nick & Suzie for another excellent salad. Great job on the grill as usual Coach.
Good to see everyone again, and meet some new guys as well. enjoyed some fine brew and food.
I am a little worn out from being at my 20 year college reunion at St. Bonas last night, and driving directly to the event today. I am going to bed. will post some pics tomorrow.

i think we decided that "the jesus" is the winner. he had to bail early and get to work but he definitely caught the longest carp. i will get the photos up asap. Vince caught two carp right around two feet, i caught one about the same and Ryan's was just about 30".

At the sound of the horn BIG Tim (psycho) told Alex he would be driving us around for the day, and he didn't say no... Forgetting about the upstream creek and the rain overnight, our first spot was less than idea vizability for shoreline structure fishing. So we scanned the flat a little further out and the little guy soon gets lucky with the first green carp! Hey, its a fish when we had spotted NOTHING. Time to move on. After a long hike down to the reeds in Spot 2, I got the skunk off with this beautiful green carp, and yes Vince "I" stuck with carp flys all day. Same pattern I landed a real one on last year (with the addition of a mono weed guard) After an hour of flailing around I moved closer to the desired species. Roach? Rudd? Redfish? Goldfish? WTF is it? More Green Carp: Brookies(largemouthPOPPERS)Rule Timbo half way to Navy Island (40x zoom is cool) more to come... Attachments:

So you have 20 guys standing around a parking lot drinking beer. One of whom looks like he already pissed himself (sorry about your leak Charlie) And you get these two cars pulling up with strange-assed bikes on the back. They obviously thought they were TECH-COOL - NOT ;D There's always a wise-ass in the bunch, thank god. Alex walking away (note the shit eating grin) The car with bike rack The wise-asses act "OK, Every body back to Rick's!" Good job, Alex you win honorable mention, BEST GAG YET! ;D
