I didnt get to stay long but it was a good swap. Patgreen i already caught a lake run brown on the pattern you tied. It was the one with a cone head and grey bunny back right? I cant wait to put some of these to use! you didn't even send me a picture of it?!!? and you need to introduce yourself at these things. i had no idea who you were, but i figured you were the only person there without a beard. I figured everyone knew who i was because i was the only one not drinking. And it wasn't a big brown i caught at all. One of those tiny lake runs that look like inland fish. But a fish is a fish. Ill be sure to keep fishing it... i love the colors, i guess the fish do too!

Ok Pat...I'm trying like he77 to get with the program, but the program doesn't want to get with me. Here are the group shots I took. I've got pics of some, but not all of the flies (those are for later), so here goes: Again...Pscho timmy's "special friend" it's EZ to see why she's so "special to him" (spooky, man) it looks like dave's playing the ouija board on the table. hopefully the table told him where the steelies are hitting (ha!). he's really sorting flies. Pat holding his sore casting arm (or is that his drinking arm?) and that growler's well on its way to being history. the gang swapping stories, flies and lies. hey, we're all fishermen!! and the growlers, sixers, & snacks were flowing real good. Many thanks to brookiesrule & the rest of the gang who brought the brewskis. A real smorgasbord of beers! Nick made us take the empties with us. I guess he didn't want to spend the next hour cleaning up our mess. individual flies to follow (but not right away). this'll take a while.. Overall, a really great time. It was nice to swap stories, locations, luck, no luck, techniques, etc. I really enjoyed it & many thanks to everyone who showed up or couldn't but tied for the group anyway, and especially dave19 for starting the very first one. The swap has really turned out to be a successful get-together... All very much appreciated...jj

Sorry for not getting my flies in on time. This month blew by pretty darn fast. I have the flies done so if you guys want to pm me your address I will get them in the mail asap. Finally was able to get to the post office yesterday. Guess that nots ASAP, but they are on their way. Pat I sent you yours sepearate. FYI - there are no toe tags on the flies. They are the Irish Crayfish in my step by step page......minus the coque feathers...just pheasant rump. Some of you will get a blue bodied one and others will get a copper bodied one. Thank you for your patience guys. Sorry for being the lame duck. Frank

I took some pics at home of the flies that were tied. They're not the best shots (no light box, etc.) but I can post them if you guys don't mind. Maybe someone who can get better quality can also post them..jj

JJ,
Pics with names of the flies and who tied them would be nice. They all look great however since I couldn't attend the swap I am only guessing who tied what.
