Justin, I have looked at your tie a few times now and really like it. I prefer a all around toothy getter (muskie, northerns, walleye) that looks like a baitfish, nice looking tie but not a project, good mobility, reasonably decent to cast with out needing a 10wt and works in a lot of various water color from clear to stained. I like to tie one pattern on a bite guard and fish it, as long as I am out, with out changing flies. When you get time please post up the recipe and if you could take a couple pics of it in your fat, chubby little construction workers paws.....I mean hand ....... in natural light outdoors. You criticized yourself for no reason. It is a very nice tie and the head is really , really nice. Does it swim true? I see you tied what I believe are non lead eye's under the shank so, I would think it does swim well, with a slight dive at pause. Fairly easy casting fly as it appears? I like it a lot and will tie a few in 6" format with the deep freeze on. That looks like a REALLY good all around toothy pattern to me and is pleasing to the eye to boot. I luv perch patterns for toothy critters from a traditional POV. Plenty of very large Muskie have been taken down here on 6" Pikie Minnows and Brooks Reefer's in perch colors and I have no problem with 5# smallies, 8# Walleye grabbing either. I would think with that head profile one could slowly strip it through weeds fairly weed-less, what do you think? Add weed guards ? Thanks
