Excellent demo, Steve, & thoroughly enjoyable. All beautiful ties, even without the gel-spun (ha!). Especially liked the little tricks you showed us, like spinning the feather butt ends before tying. Hope you had an E-Z drive back.

Steve from the Bighorn Angler will be doing a presentation on the operation on the BH and Pete will be tying some of his favorite flies for the river. The theme will be fishing in warmer times! This Saturday 2/8 from 2-4 pm at the fly shop. Local WNY guide Jason Czora shows off a nice brownie from the Bighorn River MT tip last summer. da River

Nate...great job on the muskie flies & nobody would even have known you were a first timer. New materials, new techniques, a whole different kind of tying..all good stuff. Thanks much for an excellent demo. BTW, what was the name of that pink mesh you used? When you were cutting it, it seemed pretty rugged.

Thanks John, it was a lot of fun. The mesh material I used is braided expandable sleeving, it is designed for bundling wires and made from polyethylene monofilament. [/URL]
