An outing for those that love glass fly rods to come and cast rods and BS with others. Bring your glass and what not. There are three ponds in the park that contain bluegill and small largemouth and several trout streams are located within an hour of the park. This event is being sponsored by WNY's finest fly shop.... OOFS. This event is open so invite your broski's folks. Words of caution - Erie County does not want glass bottles in their parks so make sure you bring either cans or cups to pour your suds into. -Ryan W. Fiberglass rods will put purple highlights in all of your photos. Yes, they are that good... Come out and see for yourselves on August 23rd. We should have two centuries and several decades well represented in Fiberglass Fly Rods. We will grill some dogs and bother some 'gills while we are at it. You're probably square if you're gonna be there!

This event is being held at Sprague Brook Park in Glenwood. Shelter information will be forthcoming once Erie County accepts payment.

This is less than two weeks away. Nick has been able to get some Scott, Echo and Redington rods for this event. I am sure that at least one T&T Heirloom will be there too.
Let me know if you plan on coming as I am trying to figure out how much grub is going to be needed.

A Psychologist, who I met while camping in the Catskills this week, gave me a fly rod. And a pinata. I'll bring both - plus the magic cooler.
