The Silver Green from A.E. Knox's "Autumns on the Spey" An Effective fly when tied on more sensible sizes, like 4-8 on eyed hooks. Great for overcast days and stained conditions. Body: Green, Purple and Red wool mixed 2:1:1 Rib: Flat Broad Silver and Orange Floss Hackle: Grey Cocque hackle Wing: Pintail or Teal. Note: The Hackle is counter wrapped over the tinsel and the floss is wrapped through the hackle.
