www.grandriverspey.ca/ This is my final reminder regarding the clave. We several excellent instructors lined up to do demos and help with people's spey casting. We also have the services of 3 certified single handed casters available through out the day to work with individuals wanting help with single hand casting. We now have over $6,000.00 in item for the silent auction.Items range from spey lines to fly selections, guided fly fishing trips to spy rod and spey rods packages valued at up to $1,000.00 plus. Please remember that no money will be taken from donations or the silent auction to cover any of the expenses for putting the Spey Clave together. All money is going to the Waterloo Regional Police Association to hlp support their kids programs. Officers Steve Beckett and Steve Tremblay will be with us all day to answer any questions and also to take the money at the end of the day for us.We will also be accepting donations of used fishing equipment of any kind in good useable condition to be passed onto kids. Remember to bring your waders and a chair to sit on if you like.Coffee will be available during the day so please bring a coffee/travel mug if you can to help reduce on the garbage some. Cheers & thanks,Randy

Hope everyone had an enjoyable time at the Spey Clave and maybe even learned something new to add to your casting arsenal. It was a day of good food, good friends and some excellent casting demos and instruction. My thanks to the casting instructors, pro staffers and volunteers that helped throughout the day. Without them the day wouldn't happen. A special note of thanks to the many fly shops, manufacturers, casting instructors and friends that donated items and services to the Silent Auction. Thanks to their generosity we were able to raise over $3400.00 for the Waterloo Regional Police Association to help support their many childrens programs.
Thanks to everyone for their hard work...Randy.
P.S. For the record we had well over 200 people attend the Spey Clave.
Randy
