This fly was invented back in the 1970’s by Mike Crosby of Halifax, Nova Scotia. It was developed for fishing the LaHave River and fish’s best on bright sunny days. Since then it has been used successfully in other rivers across Atlantic Canada. Hook: Up eye Atlantic salmon hook Tag: Flat silver tinsel. Tail: Golden pheasant crest Body: Back half silver tinsel, Joint of fluorescent green yarn, front half peacock herl. Rib: Oval silver tinsel. Wing: Yellow dyed gray squirrel. Collar: Yellow hackle Head: Black
