This fly, invented by Brian Kite, can be tied in just about any color to suite water conditions and other factors. The colors I have listed are two of the more popular ones. Orange version Shank – 20mm Wadington shank. Trailing hook - #2 Octopus connected by a loop of 30 – 50lb fire line lashed to the shank. Thread – Orange. Butt – Orange Chenille. Tail – Orange Goat hair and orange dyed grizzly hackles. Body – Hot orange trilobal dubbing. Skirt – Orange dyed Lady Amherst pheasant tail. Collar – Orange Goat hair, orange dyed grizzly hackles and Orange dyed Lady Amherst pheasant tail. Eyes – Gold Dumbbell eyes. Head – Hot orange trilobal dubbing.
