I have watched alot of Davie McPhail's YouTube step-by-steps.... he ties alot of great flies and I find them to be easy to follow

I agree,
I would like to note, though a step away from the traditional winged wet, one tip Nick shared with me for winging small wets is to use bunny hair cliped from a zonker strip.
This adds much desirable wing mobility, comes in many shades, colors and is still nice on the eye's from my experience,.

I got a question... do you use wet flies for steelhead? And if so what sizes/styles?

I got a question... do you use wet flies for steelhead? And if so what sizes/styles? Yes you can Mikey. I don't use them a ton and frankly should use them more. They work particularly well on the smaller streams. Sz 8 is the local standard on a standard length to 1x long shank, heavy wire, down eye wet fly hook. The Lucky Bucky from the shop and in archives here in sz 8 is a good example. Look under Charlie's patterns also.
