what size hooks did you use? Do you have any pics next to a reference, like a dime, quarter, silver dollar, manhole cover?? Every single one of them a real nice tie. Excellent job, Wylie. I'd fish any of them in a heartbeat!! My fav is that first one, the green one.

Hey J.J. Thanks for the kind words! The first pattern is a double deciver that I used fin racocon on. The bigger flies mostly use size 2 hooks and are articulated. The phenom also uses a size 2 hook while the smallish Secret Sex Dungon a Kelly Gallop pattern uses size 4 wetfly/muddler hooks. Here's a group shot for perspective that I took for ya... Junk

Nice looking ties, I like that Lincoln fly the best haha. I wish someone would teach me how to tie that one! Out of curiosity what is the flash in the top one?

What is your set up for fishing these type streamers? I always have a ton of trouble and frustration trying to cast bulky flies like these. Cheers.

Chuck the flash on the top fly and manny of them is Jack Gartsides Secret stuff in Chartreuse and Peacock Blaze. It's pretty versatile stuff I use it for flash as well as a substitute for estez by chopping it up and spinning it in a loop.
Sean I use a 9 1/2 foot five weight which isnt ideal. A six or seven weight would be more ideal however I don't own one. I usually throw them on a 200 Grain full sink line if I am in a boat or sink tip/polly leader if wading. Slowing down your casting and opening up your loop helps. A majority of the time when fishing from a boat I like to tandem rig the articulated streamers with alternate colors and sizes. Almost like how the surf guys use teasers.
G.I. that Phenom's belly is Rams Wool stacked and trimmed. Some times I use E.P. fibers instead of wool. The wool or E.P. fibers are suppose to make the fly to roll in between strips.
