This fly is an invention of Bert Miner from Doaktown, New Brunswick. Miner is considered a very influential salmon fly tier of the early 1900’s. The fly became very popular in New Brunswick and Main and still is. Hook: Up eye salmon hook. Tag: Oval silver tinsel. Tail: Golden Pheasant crest. Butt: Black ostrich. Rib: Oval silver tinsel.
