This is my personal favorite non weighted streamer hands down. It is a fly I first learned about from Kelly Galloup and is a variation of the T/A Bunker fly. I have fished this fly in multiple states and taken many large trout to date on this fly. To give you a size perspective of this fly the spinners pictured in the photo are tied on a size 8 2Xlong hook. I had been fortunate enough to discuss this pattern with its inventor a few times. Hooks: Front hook is a Stinger hook rear hook is an egg hook. Rear body: White marabou plamered w/ two olive marabou feather stacked on top. Three to four strands of soft pink marabou. Connection is 15 lb American fishing wire threaded through rear straight eye rear hook eye. Once rear hook is threaded pass the wire through four red craft beads to prevent fouling. Fix wire to front stinger hook and add skirt of Rainbow flashaboo. Repeat rear body steps on stinger hook but leave approximately 1/3 of hook clear for spun head. Next add spun wool head olive top white bottom. Crazy glue large doll eyes. I like the largest doll eyes I can fit on fly esp for muddy water. The larger the doll eyes the greater the rattle noise created. Fishing note: I like to fish this fly on heavy sinking line with one BB split shot on the leader. Color combos can vary for any bait fish. Replace the olive stacked marabou with purple and gray for alewives imitations.
