Thanks to thewlie for pointing me in the right direction. I tied this on a keel hook as in his post "Stacked Blonds" with the hook point up. Trying to come up with a pattern that looks like a stupid/easy pickings stocked trout. any help or critique you can give me

Awsome looking fly my only suggestion would be to get that big blue spot near the gill plate. Either way I am sure it will work and looks amazing! Kudos.

Great pattern, my only suggestion would be to put it on a tube. Pike are notorious for grabbing a bait & swimming off with it before they munch & swallow, putting the hook farther back should give you a better hookup ratio. as well as making the fly a little less likely to get trashed on the first fish. I just thought of one other advantage for a tube, it will help hide a wire bite tippet. good luck with it.

The posse Tied on 1/2in alum tubes with a splash of blue I think they are ready
