Man I’m supposed to be in Toronto until Sunday. But the news flash regarding the phin & matts is making me real thirsty. That is some fine ale. So as long as those pesky boarder patrol agents don’t conspire against us we just may make it.
And Vince if you can’t get the bounce house I recommend duct tape.

Rain, rain go away.....! That seemed to be the theme for the picnic this year, but I think everyone who attended had a great time. Thanks Vince for the use of your cabin. It is a great place to hold an event like this. Thanks Leslie for the delicious salads and hard work you put into it's success. Nick as always did a much appreciated job in getting an excellent beer that went down too smooth! Hi8s casting demos in the rain managed to draw some people from under the tent. Suzie, great cookies and brownies, thank you. Thanks John Benish for the dip. Paul of course, thank you for hosting this event. And anyone else I missed, I'm sorry for that, but thank you anyhow. And a special thanks to everyone who attended. Thank you for making us your fly shop of choice, we appreciate your business! See you soon!!

Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate in the rain with us! Once again, as Jules said, thanks to Nick & Suzy Pionessa & Paul Wachter of the Oak Orchard Fly shop for all their help!
Thanks also to Chris "coach" Garcea and Karl Hensler for their great grill work on the chicken, dogs & Italian sausage.
Despite the weather, it was great to hang out with old friends, and meet new ones, down in the valley.

After seeing rain all day, I would like to thank the crew for putting up the tarp to keep the beer dry. I almost didn't make, but I'm glad I decided to show up. It's nice to see a shop give back to their customers with beer and grub. Thanks again.
