This fly, the tube version of the old reliable wooly bugger, has been a very productive one this year for steelhead. It can be tied in many other colors besides white by simply substituting the appropriate colored material. Tube: Plastic tube cut to length. Tail: White Marabou with some pearl or silver flash added Body: White crystal chenille. Hackle: White Schlappen palmered through the body. Rib: Oval silver tinsel counter rapped over hackle. Head: Silver cone.
