I borrowed the good camera from work(Sony MVC-CD500), pretty cool, it shoots right to mini discs, and sat down with a couple "pops" and the boxes out of my vest. Some of these are successfully tested (fish slimed) and some are new ties, one of a kind. I wanted to record these so after I set the hook and put it in the tree behind me, I can recreate the one of the kinds. I've been accused of never tying the same thing twice but I do have a few series's (is that a word? ) that are useful producers. a low water olive spey #3 A.j. hook. The wing is turkey back slips, sort of iridescent brown Fuzzy olive spey, burnt orange butt, #4 heavy Partridge, turkey tail wing(secondary feather ?) #3 AJ hook, the hackle is dyed brown mallard, a little brighter tie for crappy viz. water 1.5 A.J. Minnow'ish Spey #3 A.J. smaller version of the minnow'ish series, red tinsel rib and a little marabou fluff in the butt. Not a highlander, but big and green 1.5 AJ hook Really bright, #2 partridge heavy. More to come... Steve
