This fly was invented by Randy Love, formerly of Western New York now living in Arizona. Randy created a series of spey flies in the mid 90’s for fishing the great lakes tribs. This particular fly was designed for high and dirty water conditions. It should be dressed on a heavy wire hook and/or weighted with lead wire. Hook: Heavy wire black Alec Jackson Spey or other heavy wire salmon fly hook Tag: Fine oval gold tinsel Body: Chartreuse pseudo seal dubbing or substitute. Hackle: Chartreuse Burnt-goose spey hackle Rib: Fine oval gold tinsel counter rapped over hackle. Collar: Six to eight strands of pearl Krystal Flash and a webby black saddle hackle. [/url
