My Wife picked up a bag of glass beads to knit into a scarf (that would be slide onto the yarn, not knit the beads ) It is a mix of purple, greens, reds. I drooled when I saw it. So this is the first (over)use of them as tying material, they will be bugger head as well, in the future #2 down eye streamer hook Tail: marabou w/a few strands of crystal flash Body: glass beads coated w/flexcement (to keep them from cracking off) olive saddle hackle black dumbbell eyes 4 inch Rabbit strip with a small slit, slid over the hook, pulled tight down around the bend and tied off at the head. The purple, sink like a stone version black cone AND eyes orange teal hackle

Pretty slick Steve! don't fish that purple one when you're alone, you'll need someone to call 911 when you crack your skull bouncing it off your head. ;D

Yeah and I will have glass chunks embedded too. I'll wear a helmit, it should shoot and sink like a bullet. I can't wait to give it a swing. If I find I'm getting short strikes I can add a stinger on a loop of backing

River and muddy Catt was the plan. They don't take long to tie, but sticking you finger when putting on the beads is a hazard .
