This fly was invented by Mike Kinney of Oso, Washington. This fly works well when the fish are spooky from being harassed by other anglers. One of the interesting things about this fly is that it was one of the first tube flies to use a dressed hook. Tube: Plastic or metal, from 1 to 1 ½ inches long. Body: Purple yarn. Rib: Pearl Mylar. Hackle: Purple schlapen palmered over the body. Collar: Black schlapen. Wing: Two dyed purple pheasant rump feathers tented over the body. Head: Purple. Trailer hook: Your choice of hook (I used a Daiichi 2451) Body: Bright green seal fur or substitute. Hackle: Purple saddle palmered through body.
