Isonychia Bicolor & Sadleri comprise the Slate Drake hatch. They hatch in June & again in Sept.. The nymphs hatch by swimming to the shore, crawling up on a rock & emerging. This means the fish don’t always see the duns & concentrate on the nymphs. Sadleri will hatch in stream on occasion & trout will take duns & emergers. They average around a 10. The spinners are dark rusty colored & come out at dusk. Two tails.
