Stenonema Vicarium will begin to hatch around the 15th of May & last around 2 weeks. They vary in size from 10-12 & tend to hatch sporadically throughout the day with the peak being in mid afternoon. The nymphs crawl to the sides of the streams & emerge sub-surface as a fully winged adult. The spinners are rusty colored, come out evenings & can be the highlight of the hatch because of the concentration of spinners. Two tails.
Stenonema Fuscum will begin to hatch around the 15th of May & last around two weeks. Sizes range from 12-14 & appear very similar to the March Brown. Emergence is the same timing & action as the March Brown. Grey foxes are usually lighter in color than March Brown but can vary wildly. Spinners are typically cream to pale orange in color and come out in the evenings. Two tails.
