da-hum! those are some great looking flies Frank. i gotta try some of that whiting spey hackle now that they seem to have gotten better. which particular feather did you use on them? i ask because they look good and they have both rooster and hen and cape and saddle and i want to make sure i try the right one. if anyone didn't notice Swingers

Thank you Nick!! A little cross ribbing for durability wouldn't hurt, but I felt like keeping it easy. If I don't want to add more flash I use mono for the cross ribbing. Very strong and doesn't take away from the dubbing.
The whiting packages I have do not specify if they are from a hen or a rooster........but they are capes and I am leaning towards rooster capes because of the range in sizes.
