Lemires Green Butt - I switched up the materials as you can see and used Coyote mask instead of rabbit for the body and wing. I also used an amber colored mallard flank feather for the collar instead of Teal. The tail is up rather than down. Green Butt Spey taken from Trey Combs', "Steelhead Fly Fishing" Hook: Partridge low water, 2/0 - 6 (size one AJ shown) Butt: Fluorescent chartreuse floss over flat silver tinsel. Rib with three turns of oval silver tinsel. Apply 3 coats of colorless nail polish. Tail: Golden pheasant creat feather tied with curve pointing down. Body: Black tying thread ribbed with flat silver tinsel and palmered with spun black rabbit between rib wraps. Hackle: Gadwall or Teal, one turn only Wing: Gadwall over gray squirrel tail Eyes: matching pair of Quail flank feathers
