Nice lookin' flies, I like the colors. Blues, Pinks and Yellows with some light sparkle always look good to me.

Thanks guys. There are a couple reasons I tie it on a tube Nick. For one, it makes a nicer shape, without having to build up tons of thread. Also, they can be tied in succession. That makes it a lot quicker. Lastly, I just like how they look on a tube. Don't get me wrong though, they definitely work well on hooks too.

I heard of senyos ice dubbing so I am assuming that's what your using but are there substitutes for it? I havnt done much work with synthetic fiber streamers other than DNA and I'm wondering what else works since I seem to see a lot of them around. Anyones suggestions/experience would be great.

Hey FSG, why not stop by the shop and take a look at some of these synthetic materials? It will give you a chance to check them out first hand and any questions you have about them will be answered in person.
Nick is doing the tying demo this saturday and he's showcasing baitfish patterns. That would be a great opportunity to maybe see some of these materials be used and give you a better idea of them.
I have only worked with DNA myself and not even in streamer applications just for wings. So I can't really give you any first hand experience, but every time I go to one of these demo's I learn more and more.
Give it a shot.
Hope to see ya there.
Tony

Ah gotcha. Well, you can always take the quick drive down main st and visit the shop. You can take a look at some of the stuff first hand and get your questions answered by the staff.
Have a good one man.
