just wondering if anyone has done this, and what you married for the wings, i'd like to try and stick to marrying something with turkey, and suggestions would be very much appreciated ;D

marry turkey with what ever-goose, swan, or any other, the turkey will make the wing stiff , the sky is the limit, FGS III has many beautiful married wing Dee patterns. Look for him here www.classicflytying.com/index.php?showforum=5

Stick with Turkey for the Dee wings......married or not. Steaming them first will help spruce up the small barbules which will make them a little easier to marry.
The sky is the limit Alex!! Looking forward to seeing another one of you Dees.
