I'm sure any "perchy" colored streamer made out of bucktail would do the trick. Look for some musky flies on google, and size them to your situation. Trolling might be an issue though, if you cant go slow enough the line will twist and you'll have a mess to deal with in no time. Probably would be better to anchor and cast.

I'm thinking of a streamer tied using DNA or similar or Icelandic Sheep in perchy colors like dark green/gold with a little help from a magic marker to add the dark bars, you could tie them pretty much whatever size you wanted. or a stacked deerhair bass bug type fly, with green, black & yellow, as a surface fly or possibly with dumbbell eyes tied in to take is down. I suggest you anchor & cast if you want to get deep, unless you're using a full sinking line or shooting head & running line, while trolling the floating flyline will pull the sinktip & fly up out of the depth you're looking for. good luck, oh yeah -WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING?

I like to use a "short" anchor line, since anchor line length is one of the factors that determines holding power. I'll drop my 8# mushroom straight down so the bottom of the anchor just touches lake bottom. Use an anchor design that won't hang up. A breeze will slowly drag the boat & anchor across the bottom. This way: 1. you're going slow enough downwind which is similar to a slow troll 2. you're covering new territory 3. the dragging anchor kicks up bait from the bottom so panfish are attracted 4. if drift speed is fast enough but not too fast, you might be able to get a slow troll without retrieving the line 5. When drift speed was too slow, I learned how to do a two-handed retrieve. Overall, that kind of fishing, in the small inland lakes on a boat, is just my kind.
