Guys, which do you prefer for swinging flies? Does one perform and/or cast better than the other?

i'm not sure there is much performance difference between the two. for a while there rio just made the 10' and 15' in the heavier core leaders so we switched to airflo since they offer 5', 8', 10' and 14'. now rio added 6' versi leaders this year so they evened that up a bit. the one difference is that the fastest sink rate on the airflo's is 6.1 ips where the rio's have a 7 ips sink rate. they seem to cast about the same and durability seems even too.

Thanks, Nick. I read your review of Scott's new A3 switch rod where you used both 8' and 10' polyleaders. Given your results, it looks like a few of these in different sink rates are ideal tools for steelheading.
