So.. I dont tie dries but have some hooks that might interest someone else..
Anybody got something they would be willing to trade.. Hooks to tie some streamers on or tying materials for example..
Ive got a pack of Mustad barbless dry fly hooks.. Size 18, 100 qty
and 5 daiichi size 22 dry fly hooks as well as 5 size 16
I also have a 25 count pack of xtra long Nymph hooks size 20 and a 25 count pack of wet/nymph hooks in size 20..

If I were you I would use this hellishly long winter to practice tying some dries & wets, just get a good step-bey-step book for beginners, watch the videos on here and practice. In the long haul your gonna save alot of money

I agree. Start practicing ! It will only take a handful of tries before you see how bad it isn't

What genghis and Tony said! Good advice. Start with those 16’s, then the 18’s. After doing 100 size 18 dries you should be ready for the #22’s.

yep, everybody's right, 2 dozen each sulphur emergers, duns & spinners on those 18's will get you through a good chunck of next May & June and leave you a couple dozen for caddis
