nice ties!!! Just a question ..... cuz ive tied this style before but with the broken shank as the front part and the actual hook as the back part, do you ever miss hook-ups because the fish takes the wiggle part and not the hook???

Thanks! Not really Dave. It seems like they hit it so hard, it doesn't affect hook sets too much for me. I'd be more afraid of popping the fly in half on snags, big fish etc. tying it with the hook in the rear.

I'd get 'em whipped up. That was the only fly to generate a strike for me the last two outings on one of my home creeks. This is the time of year they really do work.
