Invented by Joe Aucoin of New Waterford, Nova Scotia in the early 1900's. This fly, not to be confused with the bomber dry fly was developed for fishing the Margaree river on Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia. Tag: Silver wire and yellow floss. Tail: Golden pheasant crest. Rib: Oval silver tinsel. Body: Black wool. Hackle: Black hen. Wing: Black squirrel and golden pheasant crest. Cheeks: Jungle cock Head: Black
