My fourth diver/ popper. i'm ready for some serious feedback. i used a portable sodder gun to burn some holes for the eyes and it worked pretty good. it is still a work in progress. Attachments:

Sling, Looking really good man. I use a battery power solder gun also and it works great. Are you trimming with scissors? The bendable double edge razors will allow you to trim a bit closer and tighter. You can usually get them at the dollar store. I'd check our Steve's demo tomorrow, he's a master with deer hair.

Wonderful color combos. Looks like a great pike / bass fly. If it were my fly (but its not) I would find a different style eye to use (just my preference). Also, I might thing about trimming a little more, streamlining the profile a bit. To me, I would think that with the body as large as it is, would want to hold water - making pick up and casting very difficult. But that all depends on how loosely or tightly the hair is packed and what # rod your doin it with!

good looking fly man i dont really know shit about spinning or stacking deer hair but it looks like if any improvement were needed it would be to pack the deer hair a lil bit tighter other than that great tie and good color combo
