tony..yeah, we were all waiting for you at the shop (and you, too, Mikey). it would have been good to see you again. There were a lot of jokes, fishing stories, tying info, general B.S'ing, & a few brewskis for everyone. A good time to just sit around & relax. As the evening went on, the stories got better, but more believable, of course (ha!). Looking forward to the next one. dave did a great job putting this together & Nick graciously let us hang in the store after hours. All-in-all a great time. Damm that work. It gets in the way of the important things in life. I PM'd you for options. Basically whatever is most convenient for you...jj

Yeah I would have loved to make it in time but I got held up at work. We're building someone a wrap around porch and we had braced the rafters in a way that would have worked just fine but the home owner felt that with the weather lately he needed to tweak our bracing..... and in the process ended up shifting the whole porch's rafters in a way that forced us to undo the last 3 days worth of work. So that sucked.

Boys, just picked up my flies from the shop. I was very impressed and appreciate the effort from all. I'm new to tying and this has been a great experience and looking at these flies makes me want to improve. Thanks again!!!

Charlie..awesome pics that really show the work that went into the ties. Thanks much for posting them. I especially like the way you took group shots of each pattern, rather than individual flies.
Pat: I never knew that the couch in the store would convert into a Barc-O-Lounger. You're looking pretty relaxed, there, man!
I had a great time & enjoyed meeting everyone there. Got a lot of tying tips from the gang & looking forward to seeing everyone's "Fall Collection" Many thanks again to everyone!!
