This fly, the tube version of the Egg sucking leach, is a very productive fly for trout and steelhead. It lends itself well to being tied on a tube. Tube: Plastic or metal tube from 1 to 1 ½ inches long. Tail: Black Marabou. Body: Black chenille. Hackle: Black Schlappen palmered through the body. Rib: Silver wire counter rapped over hackle. Head: Chenille in pink, orange or red. ![](https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7582/16085539426_972b580100_b.jpg) ![](https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8673/15491643233_8a6f429f63_b.jpg) A few using SLF spun in a dubbing loop for the head, ![](https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8580/15925584307_438e159d1f_b.jpg) ![](https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7505/16109431071_8eea143ed2_b.jpg)
