This fly, the tube version of the Egg sucking leach, is a very productive fly for trout and steelhead. It lends itself well to being tied on a tube. Tube: Plastic or metal tube from 1 to 1 ½ inches long. Tail: Purple Marabou. Body: Purple chenille. Hackle: Purple Schlappen palmered through the body. Rib: Silver wire counter rapped over hackle.
