So I haven't been up to the Catt in about 3 weeks. I was just wondering if the rain we got helped any as far as water clarity goes? I saw on water watch that the catt got up to 1000cfs. Did it clean itself up at all? Will probably come up tuesday as Monday I have my interview with the Pennsylvania State Police down near pittsburgh. Thanks, Kyle

Kyle- it cleared pretty fast after that last raise in water which we are hoping means they have the landslide issue taken care of. i fished sunday and the water rosa an inch or two at most but remained clear. we returned monday to find barely 6" of visibility and the creek at the same level. back again on tuesday to find clear to very clear conditions through the day. i have no idea whay the water was off so bad on monday, but it does seem to be acting pretty much normally now.

Nick - thanks for the update. Thats good to hear. Perhaps the situation may not have been as bad as what we all had presumed it to be, although the 6" of vis on monday does seem odd. Mother nature sure has her way sometimes of cleaning man's screw ups. I'll be up tommorow to take a look around and maybe hook a fish or two. Kyle
