Just wondering if anyone has fished the Genny yet this fall for steelhead and if so, howd you do? I've never fished it before but figured with the limited options now besides the Catt, it might be a good time to explore. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

if I'm not mistaken it's kinda early for steelies on the Genesee, thay get a heavy run of salmon in the fall, although there may be some browns & steelies in there grazing on the eggs. As a small side note- I understand that fishing in the Genny gorge when the salmon are running makes places like Burt look tame, There isn't a lot of access points or room once you get down there, and there are lots & lots & lots of guys. mostly bait fishing, some lifting. good luck if you go, let us know how you find it to be.
