Nice flies, Steve. Can you please elaborate on j.c. eyes? I am not familiar with them. Is the "j.c." simply the company that makes them or do the intitials relate to something else?

j.c. stands for jungle cock. It is a particular type of feather that produces the spots seen that can be tied in to look like eyes.

Thanks guys
jeffraz, Chris is right jungle cock. You can tie them with out eyes, they still will work. TONS of wiggle with the marabou & tips for the wing.
One thing I forgot to add (and you can't see) is, I use a "litebright" like crinkly flash stuff for a dubbed body, under the palmered marabou. It keeps the bou standing out, adds some body bulk. I've tied them with different color dubbing bodies (not just flash) and it will glow through the bou, - pretty cool

Thanks guys. How foolish of me. I know what jungle cock is, but I was looking for eyes on the fly such as bead chain, clouser style, etc. And I teach kids for a living...
