Cayuga Creek Casting Club. we will be starting our summer spey casting camp on July 13th, weather permitting. this is a very casual atmosphere of simply practicing spey casting to get ready for the fall season and also pick up tips from the other participants. no formal instruction will be offered, it's more of a group than a class. that said you will learn weather you want to or not! also a good chance to demo some rods or try some different lines on your old rod. we will go most saturday evening right through September. we will get started by 6:30 pm. i can promise it won't be this cold

we are set for the 13th and then off for the 20th for the Spey Nation event in Pulaski.
if there is anything that anyone wants to try out let me know. it's a good time to try different lines on your rod or different rods as well.

ha yeah, definitely a fun time, though next time i come up im gonna give my mind and body a bit of double hand practice before i show up. the muscle memory in me does not like the transition between a big rod and a 3wt lol.
john wish i could have at least shook your hand, was nice seeing ya, last i knew you were spotting fish from above and then you were gone. nick and justin, that was a good laugh getting skunked by 4-6 rising bass. i'll bring a spinning rod so we can say we at least caught one.
and after some thought with the whole key adventure/scare. it would have probably been cheapest to take the bus to downtown, a bus to jamestown, and then back up the next day with the other key. couldn't even have the mrs come up with it, the kids seats were with me.
oh well fun times and great laughs!
