Getting ready to be ready for the Fall fun. Been tying salt water patterns for blues bass & Albies for the season that is approaching fast. Now that summers done its almost time for some fall fun. Surf Candy (good for blues & Albies) I am a beliver in the deciver.. this one is modeled after a pattern I saw on the OOFS site. I think it will work well when the surf is churned up. Clousers with dumbell eyes that will leave a welt on the windy days..

Fish won't know what hit them. As you're going for the strikers we'll be casting for steelhead. Notice the word casting was carefully chosen.

Nice ties, Wylie. I love to see different tying styles for the same pattern - your clouser is cool, with the belly wrapped to the hook. I would fish it in a second, BUT I tie them with just a few wraps behind the eyes leaving a full round belly (that may or may not wrap around the hook...)
