WNY Trout Unlimited is collaborating with Burchfield Penney Art Center on an exhibition titled: "Fly Fishing: A Celebration of the Stream".
The exhibit will feature paintings from local artists Thomas Aquinas Daly, Thomas Kegler and Richard C. Harrington. The exhibit will also feature Salmon flies tied by Charlie Dickson and Catskill style flies tied by Dave Bollman. In addition, there will also be a display of vintage fly fishing equipment loaned by Paul Wachter, Jay Lechner and Doug Easton.
Below is a link to the Burchfield Penney website and the exhibit. The exhibit will run from 2/14/14 through 5/18/14 with an opening celebration on 2/14/14 from 5:30 - 7:30 PM.
Please take the opportunity to visit. Anyone who loves fly fishing, its history, or simply the beauty of being on the water will enjoy the exhibition.

While at the gallery, also be sure to check out the exhibit by Alberto Rey titled: "Biological Regionalism". The exhibit focuses on Scajaquada Creek, its use and misuse, to bring to light how we impact our environment. "Fly Fishing: A Celebration of the Stream" dovetails well with the important message of Alberto Rey's exhibit. The link is below.
