hey folks , been trying to make some dubbing brushes lately with mixed success . wondered if anyone had some tips . my main problems have been breaking the wire off before it's entrapped the fibers and of course that causes the material to come out when i comb it . i have been using brassie wire and sometimes 3/0 thread . i have used wax . materials i've tried include sff , ep fibers , arctic fox and angel hair . i suspect that i am trying to stuff too much (of everything is just enough ) material in. i am sure just about everyone knows more than i do , so any tips are greatly appreciated . thanks , jim

Yes, trying to put too much material into the loop can cause a problem with the loop material breaking. Maybe try using xtra small wire...not sure if that is thicker than brassie though. Basically try one size larger for the wire.
