Please join us at the next WNY TU Chapter Meeting: Tuesday, November 25, 2014, 7:30 pm. (Fly Tying starts at 6 p.m.). We have a great presentation on tap.
Doug Easton, Professor of Biology at Buffalo State College, TU member and vintage fly rod enthusiast will deliver a program on vintage rod acquisition and restoration.
Some of Doug's collection appeared in last Spring's Burchfield Penney/WNY TU collaboration: "Fly Fishing: A Celebration of the Stream" at the gallery.
Doug's experience in fly rod collecting, restoration and bamboo rod building is sure to make for a very informative and entertaining presentation.
If you have an old fly rod, feel free to bring it to the presentation!
The meeting is open to the public.
Location: Donovan American Legion Post, 3210 Genesee Street, Cheektowaga, New York. [/font][/div]

With all the terrible weather last week and its aftermath, some may have been wondering if the meeting is still on for 11/25. I'm happy to report that the meeting is on. Hope to see you there!
