A very interesting article, Riley, which brings up a good question of how much should people manage, interfere, change, manipulate, save, or whatever it wants to be called, the environment. I still remember when I was going to ES&F in 1971 & in one of my first classes on resource management, we discussed how much people should try to change what happens in nature. One of the topics we discussed was Niagara Falls eroding away. How much should the Corps try to stop that? The problem is that, like the article stated, people are also responsible for creating some of these situations (climate change). I liked the question that was aksed: "who decides what goes & what stays?" Like any discussion, there are at least two sides. I wish I had an answer but I'm not even close.

The past couple of years they have even showed up at Rushford Lake. They seem to hang out by the dam where most of the trout congregate.
