This fly pattern originally entered this world as a Crappie fly but seeing as I fish for Steelhead far more often than I do Crappie, it got jazzed up a bit. There is a definite similarity to a Clouser Bugger so I knew it wouldn't be a far reach to change it up for it's target prey. Or is it predator? I had a really good day in a white version of it one day when the water was very low and clear. A brownie actually smashed it on the surface just as it landed, very cool! Hard to see in the pic but there is the flash wing like the C.B. but I also added a little Arctic Fox for a little more mass.

Hey man nice fly but typically the hook goes in the cork... (just kidding). Adapt that bad boy to a tube!
